We transformed a cramped, early-century bungalow kitchen into a cohesive, efficient workspace by simplifying rather than expanding. Instead of opening walls, we closed unnecessary openings, reconfigured storage, and nearly doubled counter space—creating a galley kitchen that feels intentional and calm. With deep green cabinetry, butcher block counters, and refinished original floors, we honored the home’s character while delivering modern functionality through restraint and thoughtful design.
